For the month of November and December, the Margaret E. Heggan Free Public Library in Washington Township invites you to help Mother's Cupboard by donating sealed, non-perishable food items in lieu of paying fines.
Fines will be forgiven in exchange for a food donation. One non-perishable food donation equals $1.00 off your fines. Fees for lost or damaged library materials and the processing costs and fines owned to other libraries will not be forgiven.
All food donations are welcome at the library during November and December- whether you have fines or not.
Children 5 and under can join us to decorate your own (cardboard) gingerbread man, read all about the Gingerbread Man's adventures and find out if our Gingerbread Men stay put or run away!
Join us in the adult meeting room for some fun holiday crafting!
We will be making cute hat ornaments from yarn. No crafting skill is needed. Make as many as you want! All supplies will be provided. Due to limited seating, this program is limited to Heggan cardholders only. Advance registration is required.
Santa is stopping by our library on his way back to the North Pole! Join us for some holiday stories, crafts, and a photo opportunity to get you in the Christmas spirit.
