UPCOMING LESSONS

Ancestry Basics
Get started with your genealogy research. Learn how to do some basic searches using Ancestry.com, including searching census records and passenger lists, finding images of passenger ships, and locating other vital records. Attendees must be comfortable using the mouse and keyboard and navigating a website.

There will also be an introduction to HeritageQuest and Fold3. This program is free and open to all adults.

Advance phone or online registration is required. Check the calendar for future dates.

Computer Basics Classes
The library provides several lessons on elementary computer literacy skills. Please visit the event calendar to register for classes.

  • Introduction to Android OS

Microsoft Office Classes
These hour and a half classes will introduce students to the basics of the Microsoft Office suite of products. Classes are held on Monday evenings and Friday mornings. Please visit the event calendar to register for classes.

Lessons Include:

  • Introduction to Microsoft Word
  • Introduction to Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Introduction to Microsoft Publisher
  • Introduction to Microsoft Excel

Advanced Classes
These lessons are intended for students who are familiar with basic computer skills and want to expand their computer literacy into more technical applications. Classes are held on Monday evenings and Friday mornings. Please visit the event calendar to register for classes.
