Every April the Margaret E. Heggan Free Public Library in conjunction with the Washington Township Creative Team seek submissions of original poetry from the poets of Washington Township in celebration of National Poetry Month. Accepted submissions are displayed in a Poetry Walk through Washington Lake Park.
